Flat feet? Fallen Arches?
–Pain in your feet, knees, hips or back?

If so, you may be a candidate for the HyProCure procedure which is a minimally invasive procedure where select Doctors at the Foot Institute place a small titanium stent into the naturally occurring space between your ankle and heel bones. This stent helps to permanently realign the bones of your foot and the corresponding structures of your body (eg. knees, hip, back, neck) which intern can stop and even reverse the problems that are causing you pain. The HyProCure surgery is quick and easy and most patients report feeling little to no pain after the procedure.

This condition affects millions of people of all ages and it is the direct cause of many symptoms and secondary conditions, including:

  • Flat feet
  • Fallen Arches
  • Over- or hyper-pronation
  • Bunions
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Knee pain
  • Hip and back pain
  • Tendon & ligament strain
  • And even problems in the neck and shoulders.

The HyProCure procedure can have a dramatic effect on the quality and character of your life as it eliminates the underlying cause of your pain and quickly resolves your discomfort. Podiatric Physicians & Surgeons at the Foot Institute are among a hand-full of Podiatrists in Canada trained to perform this new implant procedure.

If a deformity is present, the sooner it is treated the less damage will occur so all patients (particularly children) are encouraged to see their Podiatrist as soon as possible. Often patients can be successfully treated though conservative therapy before conditions worsen. If you or your family suffer from the above mentioned problems, we invite you to make an appointment at one of our convenient locations.

Surgical Accreditation

To provide patients with the ease and flexibility of booking surgeries around their busy schedules, the Foot Institute maintains two fully accredited surgical facilities; one in Calgary and one in Edmonton. There are only a few similarly accredited facilities in Alberta.
