Foot Institute Doctors spend approximately 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles regular medical school and in fact several podiatry programs are contained inside these schools. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained significant health care instruction with a concentration on problems concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are trained to care for concerns extending from normal problems like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are more sophisticated for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
