They invest an average of ten years in education, the first four years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and a number of podiatry programs are located inside these academic institutions. Upon receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received extensive healthcare education with a stress on problems pertaining to the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to care for issues varying from typical problems like fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are even more complex for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
