Dr. Corey Drew, DPM is originally from Southern Alberta. He attended the Lethbridge College and the University of Lethbridge and obtained both a Business Administration Diploma as well as a bachelor's degree. He then attended Podiatric Medical School at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia and graduated with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree. After graduation he completed a 3-year surgical residency at Keralty Hospital in Miami where he performed hundreds of surgical procedures of the foot and ankle. During his residency training he also completed rotations in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Infectious Disease, General Surgery, Vascular surgery, Pathology, Radiology, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, and Wound Care. He is trained in elective forefoot and rear foot surgery, biomechanics, sports medicine, and diabetic limb salvage.
Dr. Drew has a passion for nutrition and enjoys educating patients on preventative, conservative and surgical options to alleviate foot and ankle pain. His treatment philosophy involves exhaustion of all conservative options prior to surgery. He understands the importance of building relationships of trust with patients through proper education and good bed-side manners. He wants his patients to be well informed.
Dr. Drew is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, and the Alberta College of Podiatric Physicians. He and his family are happy to be back in Alberta and make Calgary home where he enjoys a variety of sporting events; especially golf and basketball as well as spending time with his wife and two children.
