Foot Institute Doctors devote an average of 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and as a matter of fact various podiatry programmes are located inside these institutions. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained extensive medical training with an attention to on problems pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are trained to treat problems ranging from usual ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are far more sophisticated such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
