Foot Institute Doctors spend an average of 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles typical medical school and in fact numerous podiatry programs are contained within these institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained encompassing medical training with a stress on problems involving the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are qualified to manage difficulties ranging from commonplace problems for instance fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more sophisticated for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have significant surgical instruction which provide them the experience required to conduct surgical treatment on those problems that are best treated through surgical intervention.
