Our doctors put in an average of a decade in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and actually various podiatry programs are contained inside these academic institutions. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.
