They spend about 10 years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to standard medical school and in point of fact various podiatry programs lie inside these schools. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received wide-ranging health care training with an importance on conditions concerning the ankles and feet.
