After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received considerable medical training with a stress on problems concerning the feet and ankles. They are trained to handle problems extending from basic ailments for instance, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are much more sophisticated like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
