Our podiatrists invest an average of 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and several podiatry training programs lie within these schools. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received comprehensive health care education with an emphasis on conditions pertaining to the feet and ankles.
