They devote about ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to typical medical school and in fact a number of podiatry programmes are located inside these schools. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received considerable healthcare instruction with an attention to on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are trained to treat problems ranging from basic disorders like fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more perplexing for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
