Foot Institute Doctors spend about 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in reality a number of podiatry training programs lie within these academic institutions. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have received substantial health care education with an emphasis on problems concerning the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are trained to address concerns extending from familiar ailments such as ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are much more obscure such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have comprehensive surgical training which give them the experience necessary to conduct surgical treatment on those conditions that are best treated through surgical intervention.
