Our podiatrists spend around 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact a number of podiatry programs are contained inside these academic institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have obtained wide-ranging medical instruction with an attention to on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. They are educated to address difficulties ranging from normal afflictions for instance, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are more perplexing for example, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
