They devote approximately 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles traditional medical school and in fact a number of podiatry programs lie inside these institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have acquired significant healthcare education with an emphasis on conditions involving the feet and ankles. They are qualified to treat complications extending from simple ailments for example, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are far more perplexing including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
