Foot Institute Podiatrists spend approximately 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and in point of fact several podiatry programs are located inside these schools. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received thorough healthcare training with a focus on issues involving the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to care for problems stretching from standard ailments for instance fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are much more puzzling for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
