Our podiatrists invest approximately 10 years in education, the first four years in undergrad studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to typical medical school and in fact quite a number podiatry training programs are located inside these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received considerable medical training with an emphasis on concerns concerning the feet and ankles.
