They spend about a decade in education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and in fact a number of podiatry programs are located inside these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Foot doctors have obtained thorough health care instruction with an importance on complications regarding the ankles and feet.
