Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received extensive healthcare instruction with a stress on issues regarding the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are trained to care for conditions ranging from conventional disorders for instance ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are more complex such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have significant surgical training which supply them the practical experience necessary to carry out surgical treatment on those troubles that are best remedied through surgical intervention.

Foot Institute Doctors also have an extensive practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet go through as we walk, run or carry out other tasks. Having knowledge of biomechanics and gait abnormalities permits a Foot doctor to develop footwear and orthotics which can provide pain relief and help prevent many issues which the feet typically encounter.
