Our doctors spend about 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to traditional medical school and as a matter of fact numerous podiatry programmes are contained within these schools. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have gained thorough health care instruction with a concentration on issues involving the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are trained to manage issues varying from familiar disorders for example, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are more complicated such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
