Our podiatrists invest approximately 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in point of fact numerous podiatry programs are located within these institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have received wide-ranging medical instruction with an emphasis on difficulties regarding the ankles and feet. They are trained to handle complications stretching from conventional ailments like fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are a lot more intricate such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
