After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received extensive medical instruction with an emphasis on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are skilled to treat problems stretching from normal ailments for example, fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are even more sophisticated such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors also have a comprehensive practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet experience as we walk, run or carry out other activities.
