Our podiatrists devote an average of 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and a number of podiatry programs are contained within these institutions. Upon attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.
