Our podiatrists put in approximately 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to standard medical school and in point of fact various podiatry training programs are contained inside these academic institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have acquired thorough medical education with an emphasis on problems concerning the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are educated to care for conditions varying from basic problems for instance ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are more perplexing like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
