Foot Institute Doctors devote approximately ten years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have acquired extensive healthcare training with an attention to on issues pertaining to the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are taught to handle conditions varying from normal conditions for instance fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more perplexing for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have substantial surgical education which provide them the experience required to conduct surgery on those issues that are best handled through surgical intervention.

Doctors at the Foot Institute also have a thorough expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet receive as we walk, run or perform other activities. Realizing biomechanics and gait peculiarities permits a Podiatrist to create shoes and orthotics which can give pain relief and avoid many troubles which the feet usually encounter.
