Our doctors spend an average of ten years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and as a matter of fact many podiatry programmes are located within these schools. After acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have acquired extensive health care training with a stress on complications regarding the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are educated to deal with problems varying from common disorders for instance, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are far more puzzling like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
