They spend approximately 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and in point of fact a number of podiatry programmes are located inside these schools. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have acquired wide-ranging healthcare education with an importance on conditions concerning the ankles and feet.
