They devote approximately a decade in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to standard medical school and as a matter of fact quite a number podiatry programmes are located within these academic institutions. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Doctors have gained extensive health care training with an emphasis on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles.
