Our podiatrists devote about ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to standard medical school and in fact several podiatry training programs are located inside these academic institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received significant medical education with a concentration on difficulties concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are trained to handle issues varying from standard problems for example, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are more sophisticated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have extensive surgical instruction which furnish them the experience essential to perform surgery on those complications that are ideally handled through surgical treatment.
