They spend an average of 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and in reality various podiatry programs lie inside these schools. After procuring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have received encompassing healthcare education with an importance on concerns regarding the ankles and feet. They are trained to treat problems ranging from regular afflictions like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are even more complicated such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have comprehensive surgical education which give them the experience necessary to perform surgery on those problems that are best treated through surgical treatment.
