Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in point of fact various podiatry programmes are located inside these institutions. Upon securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have received thorough medical training with a stress on problems concerning the feet and ankles. Foot Institute Doctors are skilled to manage problems ranging from common disorders such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are more sophisticated including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have considerable surgical instruction which supply them the experience necessary to perform surgery on those troubles that are best treated through surgical intervention.

Our Doctors likewise have a thorough expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet experience as we walk, run or carry out other activities.
