Podiatric Medical School is similar to regular medical school and in fact several podiatry programs are located inside these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have gained encompassing health care education with an emphasis on complications pertaining to the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are qualified to manage difficulties varying from typical disorders for instance, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are far more obscure such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have thorough surgical education which give them the experience necessary to conduct surgery on those troubles that are best remedied through surgical treatment.
