Foot Institute Doctors put in about ten years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to general medical school and in fact numerous podiatry programs are contained inside these institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric doctors have gained significant health care education with an attention to on difficulties regarding the ankles and feet. They are studied to manage complications stretching from standard ailments for instance, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are more complex like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
