Our doctors spend approximately 10 years in education, the first four years in undergrad studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and as a matter of fact several podiatry training programs are located inside these academic institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

At the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have obtained considerable health care training with a main focus on conditions regarding the feet and ankles.
