Foot Institute Doctors spend approximately 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and several podiatry training programs are located inside these schools. After attaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

At the conclusion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received encompassing medical education with an emphasis on difficulties regarding the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are instructed to treat complications varying from typical conditions such as ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are even more complicated like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
