Foot Institute Doctors devote approximately 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and in fact various podiatry training programs are located within these institutions. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have obtained considerable medical training with an emphasis on difficulties concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are studied to handle problems stretching from general afflictions for instance fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are more perplexing including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
