Our doctors devote around 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd four years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to standard medical school and in reality several podiatry training programs are contained inside these institutions. Upon obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another 1 to 3 years.

At the finalization of the internship or post degree residency, our Doctors have obtained substantial healthcare education with an emphasis on complications pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are trained to deal with problems ranging from simple disorders for example, fungal and ingrown toe nails, to those which are even more complex for instance, clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our physicians have considerable surgical instruction which supply them the expertise necessary to perform surgery on those problems that are best managed through surgical treatment.

Foot Institute Doctors also have a thorough knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
