Our podiatrists spend approximately 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles regular medical school and numerous podiatry programs are located within these academic institutions. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another one to three years.
At the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have acquired encompassing medical instruction with an emphasis on problems involving the feet and ankles.
