Physicians at The Foot Institute – Red Deer concentrate on the surgical and medical treatment of the ankle and foot. Podiatric Medical School is similar to traditional medical school and as a matter of fact a number of podiatry programs are located within these academic institutions. At the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have received thorough health care instruction with a stress on difficulties concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are qualified to care for problems ranging from general problems like fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more complicated such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at the Foot Institute have comprehensive surgical training which supply them the prior experience essential to carry out surgical treatment on those complications that are best handled through surgical treatment.

Our Doctors additionally have a comprehensive practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs receive as we walk, run or perform other activities.
