Foot Institute Podiatrists spend around 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the next four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to usual medical school and in fact a number of podiatry programs are contained inside these schools. Upon receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 to 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or residency, our Doctors have acquired thorough medical instruction with an emphasis on complications involving the feet and ankles. They are educated to care for problems ranging from standard disorders for instance ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are a lot more challenging such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
