Foot Institute Doctors spend about 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to receive a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and as a matter of fact quite a number podiatry training programs are located within these schools. Upon securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Foot doctors have received wide-ranging medical training with an attention to on concerns pertaining to the ankles and feet. They are trained to care for problems ranging from regular problems for example, ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are far more puzzling like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have significant surgical training which supply them the expertise needed to execute surgical treatment on those problems that are ideally handled through surgical treatment.

Foot Institute Doctors also have an extensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
