They put in approximately 10 years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Upon acquiring a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another 1 - 3 years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have acquired encompassing health care training with an emphasis on problems regarding the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are studied to deal with difficulties stretching from conventional conditions such as fungal and ingrown toenails, to those which are much more obscure including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
