They invest approximately 10 years in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to attain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to attain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and as a matter of fact various podiatry programs lie within these academic institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric physicians have received extensive health care training with a stress on conditions involving the ankles and feet. Foot Institute Doctors are qualified to treat issues extending from simple ailments for example, ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are more perplexing including clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
