Our doctors spend about ten years in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the 2nd 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles regular medical school and in reality several podiatry training programs lie inside these academic institutions. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.

At the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Foot doctors have received extensive medical training with a focus on conditions regarding the ankles and feet. They are educated to manage complications varying from normal problems such as ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are a lot more puzzling for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Doctors at The Foot Institute have substantial surgical education which furnish them the experience vital to carry out surgical treatment on those conditions that are best treated through surgical intervention.

Our Doctors also have an extensive expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs go through as we walk, run or perform other activities.
