They invest around ten years in higher education, the first four years in undergrad studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles typical medical school and in point of fact various podiatry training programs are located within these academic institutions. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have obtained thorough medical education with a stress on complications concerning the ankles and feet.
