Our doctors spend approximately a decade in higher education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to achieve a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to conventional medical school and in fact quite a number podiatry programmes lie within these institutions. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for another 1 to 3 years.

Upon the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have received considerable medical training with a stress on conditions regarding the feet and ankles.
