They spend around 10 years in learning, the first four years in undergraduate studies to get a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. After securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.
