Foot Institute Podiatrists spend approximately a decade in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles traditional medical school and in fact quite a number podiatry training programs are located within these schools. Upon getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute complete a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.
