Our doctors put in an average of 10 years in learning, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the next 4 years in Medical School to have a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to usual medical school and as a matter of fact several podiatry training programs are located inside these schools. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for an additional one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have gained considerable medical training with a stress on complications regarding the ankles and feet.
