Our doctors devote around a decade in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the second 4 years in Medical School to get a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and as a matter of fact numerous podiatry training programs are contained inside these schools. Upon securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for yet another one to three years.

At the conclusion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatric physicians have received extensive medical instruction with a focus on issues concerning the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are trained to treat problems stretching from common ailments such as ingrown and fungal toe nails, to those which are even more puzzling for example clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors also have a thorough practical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the legs and feet undergo as we walk, run or perform other activities.
