At the finalization of the internship or residency, our Podiatric doctors have received comprehensive medical training with a stress on issues involving the feet and ankles. Our Doctors are instructed to care for complications stretching from typical conditions like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are far more puzzling such as clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot. Our Doctors have thorough surgical instruction which give them the expertise necessary to conduct surgery on those complications that are ideally handled through surgical treatment.

Our Doctors likewise have a thorough expertise and understanding of biomechanics, which is the study of the forces which the feet and legs undergo as we walk, run or carry out other activities. Knowing biomechanics and gait problems makes it possible for a Foot doctor to develop shoes and orthotics which can deliver pain relief and reduce the chances of a large number of issues which the feet usually encounter.
