Foot Institute Podiatrists invest an average of a decade in education, the first 4 years in undergrad studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to secure a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School is similar to general medical school and a number of podiatry programs are contained within these institutions. After achieving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute carry out a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional one to three years.
